'33' The Woodpecker Lodge is the very best place to base your holiday from, please do feel free to make 'our place', 'your place' for your stay with us. 

The spotlessly clean lodge has everything you should need for your stay, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, washing machine, dishwasher, TV, fridge freezer, heating when required, shower, sleeping for 4 people, a reclining sofa and chair, a few board games and a sun deck area that is one of the very best on this site, with 3 different decked areas to enjoy as you chase the sun around or find some shade to the rear of the lodge that overlooks the babbling stream that runs past the forest backdrop that is packed with songbirds and nature.

On the site itself there is a laundrette and a bar (please check in advance) for when the bar opens as it is a 'pop up' bar only and only opens for events on odd occasions.

With a plethora of beautiful coastal and woodlands walks available & dog friendly beaches there is plenty out there for you to enjoy, along with us being ideally located close to New Quay and Aberaeron for shops, restaurants, dolphin spotting or simply admiring the rugged coastline and views..... Or simply sit back on our sun decked area, relax and enjoy the tranquility of the Woodlands Lodge Retreat

Enjoying woodland views whilst a short distance to the coastline, 33 Woodpecker Lodge provides a homely base for a family of four, complete with pet-friendly verandas, an open-plan living space, and a prime position, near a hub of amenities and attractions. Benefit from two off-road parking spaces before ascending the steps up to the decked veranda, reaching the entrance of your new abode. Be welcomed by a contemporary living space, where you can prepare delicious meals in the sleek kitchen, dine as a four, and relax upon the plush sofas with the Smart TV in sight.

Bask in your surroundings by dining alfresco and spending your time upon either veranda, with the rear enjoying views of the woods and free-flowing stream, before toasting to your getaway. As day turns into night, catch some rest from either the double or twin bedrooms, both with Smart TVs, ample storage and serviced by a shower room. Kickstart your day with your morning routine before heading into Llanarth for your local amenities; here you can stock up on the essentials and dine out, before enjoying a stroll along Cei Bach Beach. Follow the coastal path to reach New Quay Beach and Harbour, teeming with dine out options, offering delicious produce and sea vistas, before heading to the Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre, offering guided boat trips, with the chance to bird watch and spot some of the resident dolphins.

For another day at the beach, head to Aberaeron, or if you prefer a nature-filled landscape, follow the Allt y Graig Woodland Trail, whilst Cardigan Castle, the Welsh Wildlife Centre, and the National Trust property of Cilgerran Castle are all worth adding to your itinerary. Whisk your loved ones away to Mid Wales at 33 Woodpecker Lodge.

 

 

The well-liked Welsh village of Llanarth, which is close to the coast of Cardigan Bay, has a friendly bar, a shop that is modest but well-stocked, as well as a farm shop/butcher that sells local fare. Llanarth's location on the main A487 coast road provides access to a wide range of destinations. Several beaches, fishing lakes, the regency harbour town of Aberaeron, and fantastic walking and cycling trails are all nearby and only a short drive away. Only three miles away is the well-known oceanfront port town of New Quay, where you may experience a classic seaside atmosphere and possibly locate the day's catch for sale. In New Quay, visitors may enjoy lovely boutiques, tea rooms, ice cream stores, fish and chip restaurants, dolphin viewing and boat rides.
